Wordtake transcription

Voice memo to text

Upload a saved voice recording, review a timestamped transcript and export text or captions. Turn voice memos into searchable notes with Wordtake.

Upload a recording in Wordtake

Start with a saved voice recording

Export or share your voice memo as an audio file from the recording app, then upload it here. Wordtake processes uploaded recordings; it does not connect to your phone or automatically sync the Voice Memos library.

Keep the original file until you have reviewed the transcript. If an exported format cannot be processed, use a supported MP3 or WAV copy and check that conversion has preserved the full recording.

Turn spoken notes into a reading copy

Review names, dates, numbers and unfinished phrases in the timestamped draft. A personal memo may contain pauses or corrections that matter: preserve uncertainty rather than replacing it with a confident statement.

Export TXT for a searchable note, or SRT and VTT when you need timed text. The transcript is an editable draft, not a guarantee that every word or speaker has been identified correctly.

Account and privacy

Processing requires a Wordtake account and credits. Transcription with AI review uses 2 credits per started minute. Check the cost before confirming a job.

Only upload recordings you are allowed to process. Source audio is removed within six hours after the transcript is saved; generated exports expire after seven days.
