VIDEO & AUDIO TRANSCRIPTION

Turn video into words, summaries, and mind maps.

Paste a public URL or upload a recording, then get timestamped words, a concise summary, and a visual mind map. Wordtake keeps the transcript connected to the source so you can review important names, numbers, quotations, and decisions before publishing or sharing them.

Start with a video, audio file, or public URL

Bring recorded interviews, meetings, lessons, podcasts, webinars, and other media into a private workspace. Wordtake supports common video and audio formats, including MP4, MOV, MP3, and WAV, so the same workflow can cover a downloaded recording or a file supplied by a teammate.

The timestamped transcript gives you a searchable way to revisit the recording. Use it to find a speaker's exact wording, locate a decision, collect quotations, or identify the moments that need a closer listen.

Move from transcript to understanding

Review the timestamped words, open a concise summary, and explore the main topics in a visual mind map. These views help you move between detail and context without treating an automated transcript as unquestionable evidence.

Export reviewed work as TXT for notes, SRT for captions, or VTT for web video. Check names, figures, technical terms, and high-impact statements against the recording before using them in an article, research report, caption track, or customer communication.

Keep recorded work manageable

Source media is removed within six hours after a transcript is successfully saved, and generated exports expire after seven days. Your transcript and export history remain available in your account until you delete them or close the account.

Read Wordtake field notes for practical transcription and caption workflows, including transcript review, searchable notes, interview research, and choosing between SRT and VTT.
